In its early days, eighthirty began as a small team of two, roasting coffee in a quaint shop on Karangahape Rd in the heart of Auckland City. Today, we have grown into a well-established specialty coffee roaster, cherished by a rapidly expanding community and valued partners.
Our commitment to quality transcends coffee and permeates every aspect of our operation. From sourcing milk from Plant Projects to selecting sustainable packaging from Decent Packaging, to our meticulous approach to hiring and training staff, and the warm hospitality we extend to each customer during every visit to our cafes.

We prioritize a continuous partnership with our origin partners in Popayan and Brazil's Caldas region. Our commitment to high quality and ethical sourcing drives us to support sustainable practices through ongoing purchases. Outward Bound

Outward Bound is a non-profit organisation specialising in personal and professional development - their aim is to help create better people, better communities, and a better world. People of all ages, cultures, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome at Outward Bound.

Located in Anakiwa in the Marlborough Sounds, they help people to reach their full potential through challenge in the outdoors. Their classrooms are the mountains, bush and waterways of this beautiful corner of New Zealand.
